Muscat | 14 February 2024 : In a significant step toward enhancing e-commerce in the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC), Oman Post, the national postal operator, hosted a workshop on activating the express delivery initiative for e-commerce clients of the postal operators in the GCC. This event represented a concerted effort to tackle the logistical challenges confronting the rapidly expanding e-commerce sector in the region.

The workshop gathered postal operators from across the GCC to consider cooperative strategies for improving e-commerce logistics and enhancing and speeding up delivery services throughout the region. Aimed at providing a consistent and reliable delivery experience, this concept seeks to meet the growing demands of the e-commerce sector.
